The fall in Telluride is really the best time of year for any activity, hiking, biking, fishing, climbing, bocce ball… Unfortunately it’s such a short season and I feel like I really have to pack it all in, off-season is right around the corner.

Fall is on it’s way
It was a spectacular weekend with warm sunny days for Telluride’s Blues and Brews festival. The colors are starting to go in the Telluride Valley as the photo above shows from Saturday morning. It is now raining out my window which could dull out all the leaves that have already started to turn but it’s still early fall….

Bolam Pass Sunset
I drove to the top of Bolam pass the other evening scouting locations for upcoming photography tours and captured this image. It’s nice to see a large forest unaffected by the Bark Beetle that has done such damage to the forests north of us.

42 Chevy
I got to shoot a few frames of this 1942 Chevy in the Dunton ghost town while leading a photo tour this morning. I love this old truck, so much character! I definitely have to make plans to go back there and shoot it with good light.

Clearing Storm on the Sneffels range
I caught a nice rainbow when the weather was clearing over Dallas Divide the other evening. We have had perfect September weather recently with the exception of this one rainy day. The Aspens are starting to turn and I’m very excited for the fall!

Biking near Fisher Towers
This is another shot from my Moab trip a few days ago. The Utah desert is just a giant playground for almost any adventure sport you can think of.
