Biking near Fisher Towers
This is another shot from my Moab trip a few days ago. The Utah desert is just a giant playground for almost any adventure sport you can think of.

I just returned from a quick trip down to Moab for some mountain biking and camping. The weather was perfect and there were no crowds in some of the most popular areas. A very successful trip.
I’m back in Telluride after epic winds drove me out of the desert. The weather this off-season has been awful and now we have 50 mile an hour winds with a forest fire! Well, I guess I will be logging some more computer time….
I finally had enough of hiking while getting snowed on in Telluride so I hit the road in search of warmer weather. I’m in south-central Utah and the weather is perfect!. The photo above is a desert bloom in between Hanksville and Capital Reef national park. I’m blown away sometimes where colorful flowers can sprout out of.
This is another shot from that great sunset in Canyonlands last week. I think I will be hanging around Telluride logging time on my computer until I go to Mexico on Sunday.
Out of all the times I have been to the Indian Creek area I have mostly spent my time on the cliffs climbing and had not explored the backcountry much. On this trip we did some great hikes, exploring canyons, towers and mesa’s. The photo above in Brooke high above Indian Creek on an early morning adventure.
I just returned from a great trip to the desert. The weather was perfect we got some great hiking and climbing in. The photo above is Mike hiking at sunset in Canyonlands the other night. I will be posting more photos from the trip in the next few days.
Here is another shot from my quick Canyonlands trip last week. Shortly after sunrise some great clouds moved in and created a more dramatic sky.
I took a quick overnight trip down to Canyonlands to shoot some photos and get out of town. The desert still has a lot of snow which makes it tough for hiking but great for photos. This trip made me realize how much I love packing up the truck and exploring. I think I will try to do a little longer road trip very soon.
