I finally pulled the trigger and got my plane tic for Alaska this summer. My trip dates are June 2 through Aug 13, a little longer than I was planning but it will give me ample time for my project. I will be sea kayaking around the Prince William Sound trying to raise money for the Prince William Soundkeeper and awayrness for some of the issues still going on 20 years after the Exxon Valdez oil spill. I have been making great progress working with Jennifer at the Soundkeeper and hope to raise more money in the coming month. Anyone looking to get involved please email me and I can provide more information. I would like to thank Discovery Voyages who will be giving me a lift out to my starting point on Evans Island in the southwestern Sound.

Here is another photo from my recent Arizona road trip. This is from Saguaro National Park just outside of Tucson. The desert down there was a different level then what I’m used to and I had a blast shooting photos in an area that was new to me.

Hello and welcome to my new photography blog. I have been hitting the road lately and plan to be gone for much of this summer and have started this blog to keep in touch and let folks know where I am and what I have been up to. The last few weeks I have been on a road trip to southern Arizona, climbing in Indian Creek Utah, and fly fishing the Green river in northern utah. I’m back home now for a few days working on photos from these trips then I will be heading to Lake Powell for a fly-fishing/kayaking trip at the end of the week. I hope to get some of my new images up on my website throughout this week.
